A few hours ago, it was reported that Nollywood actor, Junior Pope has lost his life after a boat he was on capsized in the Anam River.

According to multiple reports, the actor drowned and all efforts to save him proved futile.

The Nigerian entertainment industry is still in shock over his sudden demise especially since he went to shoot a movie and was returning home.

It was also reported that four bodies have been retrieved so far as they are still searching for the rest.

Junior Pope and his wife have been married for over a decade. They have three boys. Last year, the couple outdoored their newly built mansion.

The Nollywood actor, model, and television personality is best known for his roles in “Wrong Initiation, We Meet Again, and Eye of the Eagle”.

He has amassed over 25 acting credits throughout his ongoing career. His Instagram account jnrpope has gained over 2.2 million followers.

His birth name is Pope Obumneme Odonwodo. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luke Odonwodo. In July 2014, he got married to Jennifer Awele Okpuno. They have three sons.
